Thanksgiving dinner will be served:
Fried turkey?
Is it dinner if it’s before 3pm? Or does the drinking rule applies “it’s 5 o’clock somewhere”?
Yes, we always eat dinner in the morning.
Whenever it’s ready, damn it. Don’t rush me!
I respect any and all who are in recovery!!! I know the holidays can be tough, but WE can and WILL get through this together! I appreciate you!!!
Mesquite goldbelly turkey thx woot
My mom would tell 4 out her 5 kids, dinner at 4 and the other dinner at 3 so she might be there by 4. Sometimes she would call and ask me what time Mom said, and would answer “her” special time. Haven’t thought about this in a long time. It’s been over 40 years since Thanksgiving at Mom’s. Sweet memories.
In December… That’s the obvious choice.
This year, Thanksgiving “Dinner” (Menu) will be served as the "supper’ meal here (evening) instead of “Lunch” (Noontime) to accommodate the kids celebrating the day at noon with their Mom. I’ll still smoke a turkey, make a batch of homemade rolls, twice baked potatoes, corny corn casserole, etc for the 3 of us.
They normally want to take leftovers home from here.
when my check comes in
I cook all the food while we sleep so dinner is ready when we wake up. Dinner is when we feel like it!
Here is the definition. I used to have the same question:
the main meal of the day, taken either around midday or in the evening.
a formal evening meal, typically one in honor of a person or event.
I don’t know if it’s a generation thing or if it is where you live in the country that defines how you use the word dinner.
Call it what you like. We call the meal after 3pm “Lupper”, lunch and supper. So yeah, loserville‼️
Early enough to nap and repeat.
It’s a holiday. Drinking commences at will. When I was younger, that usually meant when the coffee pot was empty.
