Have you had this before?

I’m guessing the White Hawk Vineyard Syrah pedigree might have been enough to do the trick.

Yup if it’s good enough for Manfred it’s good enough for Kyle  might be great!

2007 info:

Maybe the best Syrah I’ve had this year. Reminded me of Saxon Brown.

We ratted the Grenache from the same winery.

I have a bottle to Rat, just found out it was up today. I will get my tasters together and then report. Sorry, but it will be later this afternoon. I will post as soon as I can.

No. But based on the Grenache and the vineyard pedigree, easy buy for me.

Any idea when this will drink well to?

Wine enthusiast had their 2007, suggested up to only 2011

The 2007 Grenache was doing very well, I would guess this is similar.

Again, I haven’t had this, but I’m betting ($60, actually) that it’s in a prime drinking window right now. And that’s what I need while all my other stuff hangs out for a while.

Too bad there is no NC shipping, sound like a good bet for $60

I wanna buy these but a couple of recent purchases have burned the October wine budget.

Dude, it’s the 29th! Dip into November.

That’s the spirit.
What was I thinking!

You must really be thinking you’ll like these.

White Hawk Vineyard has always been interesting. Lots of differently styled wines coming out of there. I really like Tercero’s version (of course). The notes suggest this is more on the big/rich side.

The inclusion of 5% Eaglepoint Ranch PS is also intriguing. Especially given it’s in Mendocino.

WD, if you can get some Eaglepoint Ranch wines, send’em this way!

Looking forward to mommadeb’s tasting notes…
