Is the fabric weight on the premium shirt (4.2oz) a misprint? Seems odd that the standard shirt is made of a slightly thicker fabric at 4.5oz.

Not a misprint; there’s more to a shirt than just the fabric weight. My .sig has a link to the discussion thread where the differences are discussed.
