TLC Chardonnay Six - Pack

I’m in So Cal by Sparky and Java and I would LOVE a good recommendation for a Chablis-styled cheap chard OR any other high acid, cheap, everyday white that’s a bit better than just drinkable.

gah…stupid work, i missed out on two that i wanted!

1 in 10 bottles of wine are ruined by corks, where as the screw caps have no such contribution.

I will admit, however, that screw caps almost seem to make the wine “cheap.” Can you imagine a waiter unscrewing the cap asking you to smell and having it look at all natural? Next thing will be the waiter opening the tap on the box of wine for you at the table!

California is tough because transportation costs from Europe are higher, but in CT we’ve been getting outstanding simple Chablis for about $15, very solid Macon-Villages (Latour) for around $11, and lovely white Cotes du Rhone for about the same, or less.

Got in just in time. I’ll use these as I look for a French cheap white around my parts. That sounded awkward, didn’t it?

As long as you’re honest about it…
