Today's kids will never understand:
There’s A LOT which they wouldn’t (and don’t) understand.
My wife and I dated for three years and didnt live in the same city until we got married.

It was fun of times. I use to spend whole my holidays outside.
Miss those good ol’ days!!!
Yesterday’s shirt was kind of apt:
Lucky you, being born in 90s I wasn’t lucky enough to find someone but now when I try to date or find someone it’s problematic without online presence and all that crap…
To be fair, there is a lot we don’t understand or appreciate past generations had to go though. Back to a previous forum, the Oregan trail generation did things we never understand. Today’s kids wouldn’t know how to meet up with someone precell, and we wouldn’t get very far with a team of oxen and covered wagon.

“All of the above” seems fitting.
Don’t even get me started on driving directions!!!

But they’ve also never merged Choplifter with Oregon Trail.
Yeah, it doesn’t sound impressive today, but this was when phone calls were expensive so we would write letters and postcards.
Wow!!! That’s wonderful. This generation wouldn’t understand that. Those memories and experiences.
The value a single dollar used to have.

It’s not having to wait for the next episode that’s the trial - it’s missing an episode or forgetting to record it/having something go wrong with the recording and then having to stalk the guide or calculate out the schedule of repeats in hopes of catching that similar episode some random week in the summer before try next season started.
Probably too long for a pool answer tho ![]()
Not even enough for Dollar (and a quarter) Tree!
Without some inherent optimism it can be dimmed hard to walk uphill both ways as a regular thing…

Not worrying if

That “trophy (?)” (in the frame “a truth and a lie” etc) is One Ugly Monkey. In context it needs a little more orange. Sorry…
They can’t understand that the video store was the best place to get movies to watch.

That long-distance calls used to be a big deal.
