There is a typo under the specs for the Malbec.
Prtichard Hill should be Pritchard Hill

I let the people know. I’m not allowed to make those changes.

edit: And fixed  thanks!

The Retail Prices seem off.

I looked on their site and I got these:

07 cab: $95
VSR (04 is on their site): $115
10 Pinot Noir: $75
04 Meteor Reserve: $115

This would make the deals:

Cab 2 pack: Orig: $230, Now: 131, 43% off

Pinot Noir: Orig: $150, Now: 85, 43% off

Meteor Cab 2 pack: Orig: $230, Now: $90, 61% off

Malbec: Orig: $190, Now: 135, 29% off

Am I missing something?

I have tasted the 07 Cab before and it was REALLY GOOD $#!^

Notes:

Nose: Balanced oak, mid to dark candied cherries. lots of aroma here

Palate Complex. Cherries, hint of green, spices and a very decent finish. This is actually one of the best cabs I have ever had. If they had the 07 by itself I’d be in. Instead I picked up the 2 pack of Meteor reserves for the insane 60% off…

I see that the Meteor deal has been fixed to a single bottle. Much more in line with everything else.

This is AWESOME juice. I’d completely go for the '07 Cab for $45 or 50 a bottle (in a 2 or 4 pack), but alas, that is not an option. I am sure the reserves are even better but I haven’t found any wine worth $90 a bottle for my budget and palate.

On the website, the Malbec is listed for $85, which is $170 for two, so actually about 21% off. Also this 2006 Cab is not listed on the site (that I could find) so impossible to tell what the real discount is. Lastly, the Meteor is a one pack, not two, but the rest of what you said is correct.

Yeah, this is special stuff. Handcrafted, elegant, complex… Premium, collectable Napa Cab.

Tom Eddy here - good observation checking out the Website, but the wine we are offering on the Pinot Noir is the 2010 vintage which is not on the Website yet. Cheers!

Tom- Thank you for coming on and I would like to compliment you on the quality of your wine. The 2007 is one of the best wines I have ever tasted and it wasn’t even one of your reserves.

How would you characterize your 2006 VSR in comparison to the 07 standard cab?

I’m trying to justify getting that set. I wish there was a pair of the 07’s for 120 then I’d jump, but the VSR is an unknown to me.

Good to hear from you. The 06 VSR is a barrel selection from the best Cabs from the 2006. In some way it is similar to the 07 Estate, the finish is long and the complexity of the varietal character is very similar; that is why we chose to pair the two together. Happy hunting.

What’s not to like? I’ve had the 2006 Tom Eddy Cab and it is great – if anything, 2007 was a better vintage for Napa Cabernet, and the VSR normally costs north of $115 - so this is like paying regular price for the 2007 cab and getting $50 off the VSR. Or however else you want to split up the dollars.

In for 3 …

I took a chance in the malbec. Hope it’s great too!

Sounds great, enjoy the wines.
