I bought this on Woot! awhile back, and it works fine for our purpose-- to dry the towel out faster so that it doesn’t get a chance to start smelling. I wouldn’t buy this expecting it to warm your towel as a comfort thing (the warmth is uneven and a bit weak). I’d recommend also buying a power outlet with a timer so that it shuts off after a few hours when your towel’s dry (e.g., http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B003P2UMS0).

This seems like a really unnecessary product… no thanks, Woot.

I bought this the last time it was offered…and sent it back. It only heated the part of my towel that was touching the top of the rack. In my opinion, it was a total waste of time and money.

Bought from woot and sent it back few days later. Pretty worthless for providing u with a hot towel. Get your spouse to throw it in a dryer few minutes before u get out of shower. I saw a product by brooks tone that heats entire towel in some container. I don’t know how good it is but would be far better than having a few 1 inch metal slats trying to warm up an entire towel.

I have the Brookstone towel warmer and I love it. My bathroom is really cold and I used to jeri-rig towels and direct a space heater on them. This item gets two towels quite warm. It does work a little better with two thinner towels than what I usually use but I usually use two thick towels with no complaints.

It takes about 15 mins to warm them so if you are a 5 min shower person, you’d have to start the towels before you get in the shower. I’ve been using it since Christmas and keep waiting for it to break or something bc I can’t believe I could love any electrical product this much.

Who needs jewels for Christmas when one can have a $100 towel warmer?
