I have one. It does what is meant to do. May require the little mini-disc to have it recognize certain routers (I’ve set up a few of these in different households).
We’ve had had this extender for a while now and there’s been no limitations on any platform. If your talking about the app to configure the extender it also works on Windows 10. Honestly this device is one of the cheapest ways to make life easier. It just works! 
Got my parents this a while back, and it will forget what it’s supposed to do 80% of the time. have to do a hard reset and fully reconfigure it… pain in the ass.
