These are great when you have a party or guests over. The wifi password is just a few extra letters added to te end of the router name. Great for guests that live close by that you don’t want them on your main network.
I’ve use it at a hotel and works great. You could also get one with a USB port and you’ll have a wireless hdd on the go (in car wifi) with music movies etc.
