Okay, I just sent a pack to my boss with his name and address. Please tell me this can’t get traced back to me. ![]()
Correct.
Unless I’m just writing what you wanna read. ![]()
Boss has the ole “coffee breath” in the morning?
I used to bring Trudent hot cinnamon gum to meetings and pass the packs around the table. Bought the boxes at Costco. Was quite successful.
3?? Dude, I’d buy like 50, lol.
Well! Guess I better start polishing up my resumé! ![]()
Nah, he just needs a good dose of humility. I recently earned my way into a position that pays better than his, but he’s still my supervisor, go figure.
Congratulations on the promotion!
But I still wonder… what is the intended message of sending a pack of gum anonymously?
Saliva on the Trident? ![]()
It’s really juicy gum…?
My brother sent me a refurbished heater from woot once. He didn’t tell me about it. I tried everything to figure out where it came from.
No one gave up the secret until he casually mentioned it a year later.
You’re safe.
I thought the message was pretty clear. One of his 92 employees thinks his breath is bad enough to require intervention.
Good to know. Thanks! ![]()
Is it a 14 count of packs, or 14 count of pieces in a pack…? Someone w sht luck (not sht breath) is asking… ![]()
14 pieces of gum per pack is what it says on the lower left side of the gum the most you get is 3 packs of 14 each
Thank you very much! ![]()
Okay. That was what I initially assumed. But then someone said something about coffee breath, and you replied with “Nah, he just needs a good dose of humility.” So, I then doubted my initial assumption!
While I understand that bad breath can be, but isn’t necessarily caused by coffee, you just replied talking about him needing “a good dose of humility” and went on to talk about your promotion and earning more than him. So, it left me questioning the original implication!
Well, thanks! I understand, now. Your boss, (who gets paid less than you now that you received your promotion and raise), has chronic halitosis which is caused by something other than drinking coffee.
My sympathy for having to cope with the bad breath. I’ve had to cope with similar situations. Just this past weekend, I ran into a guy I hadn’t seen in a few years. He’s a really nice guy and all, but his breath was absolutely terrible. I’m not sure that it’s a chronic condition, as I don’t recall noticing his breath years ago… but it was really bad this most recent time. I was trying to stand back from him without it being too obvious, but he kept getting closer to talk to me.

I know what that’s like. Some people are strange like that. I used to work with a guy who would put his face about 12 inches from mine when he talked to me. I’d back away, and he’d come closer. No bad breath in this situation, it was just weird. Tomorrow’s the day! The package has arrived, but the boss man has off last night and tonight. Part of me is regretting not springing for the .99 stick of deodorant, but let’s see how he takes the gum first. ![]()
