Got one of the Wiremaster LAN Cable Testers quite a while ago. Paid considerably more than $42 for it. But it is the first tool I use for cat5 troubles. Very simple to use and diagnose – If the led’s blink sequentially the cable is good, if not it is easy to figure out the problem. Highly recommended.
