I have the Rockwell version of this (it’s called the “Jawhorse”) and I absolutely love it. It’s a bit cheaper than this one (on Amazon, when they’re in the mood to discount it) and is reliable and very sturdy. (They also make a more expensive one that can hold 48".)
Thnx for posting this. I’ve been considering putting wheels on my old homemade workbench table but decided something like this would be perfect. I looked at the mothership, read the reviews on this and ended up purchasing the Rockwell 9003 cheaper. It had better marks, advertised to be built in USA, has wheels for rolling it, and looks better built overall…
I bought this one 3 years ago for $79.
I have three different models of these style 3 legged vice work stands and have never seen one with '‘wheels for rolling it’'like the one you found, and none of the photos of the Rockwell 9003 I can find show any of them with wheels…could you post a photo or provide a link please.
My last two I lucked up and caught on sale at Sears for about $80 each with the bonus extension giving it a 55’’ clamp range at N/C …the Craftsman brand Item # 00910269000P Model # CCSWEXT FYI…in my 36’x38’ shop I have a 4’x8’ work bench that I wanted to be able to move around for different projects so I put locking swivel wheels off of a hospital bed and they have worked great. I have noticed that you can now buy the equivalent of these wheels at some of the big box stores
Too bad when I got mine today, it had a chipped paint and rust under it.
I’m very sorry. Please use the Customer Service form for assistance.
If you could send a link to a pic of the damage, that will help CS.
