Good looking jacket. I wish I could find some information on what kind of temperatures it was meant for.

Great deal!! Tumi jackets typically run over $100. I am tempted…

Would this jacket be appropriate for skiing/snowboarding? Typical weather would be from 20-30 degrees.

are you kidding? u will freeze to death.

I disagree with the person that said you will freeze to death. I think that while doing an activity such as snowboarding or skiing your body is producing heat- I think if you go much heavier than this at that temperature- you would be a sweaty mess. I am from the midwest though- so 20-30 degrees is not all that cold. Someone from Florida or California might disagree though. I know that I have been out in 30 degree weather where I actually had to take my coat off while shoveling snow and just be in a heavy sweat shirt.

Buy it for looks, not function. There are no pulls to cinch the hem at the waist. There are no cinches at the wrists. This jacket is lightweight, meaning minimal fill, meaning no loft, meaning no trapping heat, meaning you’ll be cold, meaning you’ll be the icicle with the best looking jacket.

Perfect for the first day of Spring.

What is the fill?

How do they run for sizing? I’m debating between L and XL. Are these jackets waterproof or water resistent?

Material Content: 100% polyester shell, lining, and filling
Imported

^no thanks.

Specs lists as:
100% polyester shell, lining, and filling

Make sure to check the specs tab, there’s a lot of specific measurements there that should help you decide. We also have a feature listed as “Water repellant and resistant”.

Just in time for spring.

I like TUMI style. Have a trench and a rain jacket. Quality is superb.
I normally wear XXL, TUMI XXL feels a bit tight, like between XXL and XL.
I don’t think this jackets are suitable for skiing. TUMI is more about city style than slope performance.

I agree…I am a native Floridian and I JUST returned from an 18 degree Colorado Ski Trip. My Columbia jacket was WAY TOO WARM for skiing, and I am actually considering buying this jacket for my next trip…

Tumi = just another company that buys everything from China and expects people to buy just because they put their name on something.

Thats said, I guess this is a decent price for a light jacket. Would never pay retail merely for the brand name of Tumi.

{At WOOT Headquarters, deep inside Amazon.com HQ}

Hey, guys, it’s the first day of Spring, let’s sell polyester filled jackets.

That’s great, and for Thanksgiving we can offer string bikinis and Speedo swimwear.

{UGH! I wish Amazon would give us back our old WOOT!}

I don’t remember in “old Woot” ever really sticking to seasonal items. I’d argue that it is very “old Woot” to put up good deals out of season.
