I’m excited to use a hammock while backpacking this year! Last piece needed.
Why does the 16.5’ x 16.5’ tarp only provide 130 square feet? Shouldn’t it be about double that?
Ilogged in to make the same comment. From the photos they look almost square. And a 16’8" square should be about 275 square feet and the 13’9" should come in around 190’. From the item names I’d assume the advertised sqft would be the accurate number and the dimensions wrong.
These are obviously huge differences that would affect whether if buy them.

Though in retrospect, it says “130 ‘of shelter’” so it probably means the effective coverage from the elements
