Why not just add a 3rd option under ‘your choice’ for both pieces as a set for $34.98? or do you like to receive the complaints about how they only got one piece and thought they were getting two?
Does this include the tree straps?
Hey @mick66, that’s a good question! Woot did sell them as a combo before for a differnt price. Guess they wanted to give people the option to buy separately. Please feel free to add both and make this a solid combo yourself as shipping would still only be 5 bucks!
What’s up @haganone?! Tree straps are sold separately at an outrageously awesome price here: Twisted Tree Straps #gettwisted
Shipping is free today!
Sadly I missed out on the underquilt. I’ll just have to wait till the next sale and pay shipping on that one.
Are the underquilts sold out?
How did you get free shipping?
From what I can tell, yes.
In the “Your Choice” dropdown, Underquilt is faded, and unselectable.

are the tree straps required to use this?
Define “required.”
I assume you’re talking about the hammock, and not the UQ.
It doesn’t come with any straps, so you’d need a hanging mechanism. You can buy straps (or make your own out of 550 paracord), or hang by another mechanism. I have a series of eyed lag screws mounted around my living room so my kids can hammock while watching movies. No straps needed there.
a bit strange considering they come included with any twisted hammock…so basically save nothing on this deal because you need $17 tree straps lol
I’m not sure where you’ve seen that. Straps aren’t included in any of the hammock purchases on their site, or Amazon. In fact, it’s fairly rare for any hammock brand to include straps in the price.
If you don’t want to spend the dough on buying decent straps, just pick up some cheap 550 paracord and make your own adjustable ones–I have both. The paracord ones don’t work as well without a limb to help support, though (and they tend to stretch more).
I just use ratchet straps.
Not that rare… I just grabbed one of these a few weeks ago, http://a.co/3yezwCe
super straps and very comfy hammock… Although I like the thermal blanket idea.
get a couple 10 footers and you can use trees almost 30 feet apart…
That’s an odd… ly incredibly deal. Even if it were to only hold up a few uses.
Looks like an intro product, maybe pricing low to get reviews up?
I see a few commenters talking about wrapping paracord around a tree as a way of hanging a hammock. Please do not do that. Thin line like paracord damages the tree bark and in several states, it is not permitted, especially in their state parks. Additionally, the strength of the paracord might not be sufficient for the hanger’s weight and you could find yourself surprised and unceremoniously dumped on the ground when the paracord fails.
For a few bucks you can buy straps from Twisted Root or any number of Cottage companies like Dutchware, or even Dick sporting goods. 'Course, if you buy straps from Dutch, you’ll also have to get additional buckles or whoopie slings to make your set-up fully adjustable so you might want to go with Twisted root or Dick’s if you are new to hanging.
At any rate, please do not use paracord.
