Ukulele Bundles, Guitar Bag & Guitar Hangers

I have a 4 year old that LOVES musical instruments. Would any owners vouch that any would be a good for for her or should I look for something cheaper or up for more abuse?

There are not, I feel like even Sansa was like “yo dawg, we gotta stop making so many of these POS-es”.

Why is the Sawtooth ukulele $39.99 here when it can be found for $10 cheaper just on Amazon? In fact, it looks like most places are selling it for around $34.

This package comes with. Padded bag, tuner and ukulele stand. The value for these items equal $31.94. That means you get the Ukulele for only $8.05. This is by far the best deal. It’s a steal! To buy all of these together is $61.92. The deals save $21.93

Ours also comes with a tuner, case and stand which is still a bargain if you price out the rest of those items as well.

Those Sawtooth packages look like a great value, and are probably a good size for a kid to start out with. Can’t vouch for the quality of the instrument. I have a similar uke (different brand), and it does feel fragile. Hard to imagine something cheaper than this that would still be decent to play, keep in tune etc.

I’ve read favorable comments from people who say they got the Kala dolphin bridge ukes for their kids. I see similar packages with those on ebay that come to $57 shipped, as opposed to $45 for the Sawtooths here. Or for abuse-worthy, I saw a travel uke from Kala that’s made of plastic. Those seem to be $40-$50 shipped with a gig bag, but not the rest of the accessories Woot’s including. Whether that would stand up better to a kid, I can’t say. Seems that it would, though. And Kala’s a well-liked brand.

Get more of the Luna’s and I’ll buy one another day! Don’t want the sawtooth. Just my 2 cents

In case you purchase this, and are looking for a great song to learn:

[/quote] Liked the concept of the song, but a bit intense for my tastes. I made it linky, for anyone who wants to take a look. (Thought about doing it to show the preview of the video, but I found her eyebrows kind of scary so I decided not to. That's me -- scared by eyebrows.)

Speaking of the youtube, I found beginner lessons posted by a guy named Jeff Burton. Very laid-back. I learned a couple of things from him, and he has a nice, approachable manner.

So… Can I repaint or accent paint the red or pink without affecting sound quality?

How does a non-electric ukulele qualify as electronics.woot?

I’ve heard that you can decorate as long as it doesn’t make it difficult to actually play it. If you paint it make sure the paint dries 100%
