I bought one of these last time Woot had it. It works fairly well at a desk. It does take up a decent amount of room under the desk. You have to put the wheel of your chair over the foot massager looking part. Those points on the massager break off over time, but don’t impact the use of the device. It would work best for people who don’t have their desk up against the wall or have their monitor in the corner of an L shaped desk (the corner post keeps me from pushing it as far forward as I would like).

I just finished putting mine together from a previous Woot. I like it!

I have an L-shaped corner desk and it fits snugly in the corner mostly out of the way if I don’t want to use it. I only have 5 miles on it, but that’s 125 calories burned at the lowest resistance. Can I have pie yet??

Thanks for that information. I have a narrow IKEA desk against a wall/window and was thinking it would be too tight.

Is it quiet? Would it work in a cubicle farm or would I disturb everyone around me?

I have this, and bought one for a friend. It works great and is very, very quiet.
The only drawbacks are outlined above: It’s fairly long (so might not work with a narrow desk), and the little plastic tips do break off when you have the chair wheel in place against it.

I purchased one the last time they were on sale as well as I started a job working from home and was worried about the calories. I have about 50 miles logged into it at this point and have no complaints on the sound. If you’ve got an over-ear microphone I don’t think it would pick up the sound of the elliptical, but if you are utilizing an in-computer microphone I think you would run a risk of that. As others have said I think it’s great for L or flat bar ___ desks and it is rather long.

This beats the alternative of a 3-600$ desk with elliptical if I already own the desk (which I did).
