I bought this a month ago and I’ve used it several times to pump up a tire until I could replace it, and once to jump start my car. It did a great job on both tasks, and holds a good charge for a long time.
The Walmart description states that this model is not for larger engines (“The Uniden UPP60 Auto Emergency Power Pack with Air Pump, Recommended for 4-Cylinder Engines…”).
That said, I’m getting one primarily for jump starting riding mowers.
I’m also figuring on using the air pump for occasional mower, trailer, and basketball flats without having to move to my main air compressor’s location.
P.S. Walmart’s price is $78.16 for this exact model.
All of those reviews are worthless. Three of them are fake and the final one is negative but vague enough to be completely unhelpful.
I almost bit, put it in my cart and all, but the paucity of reviews has me leery.
Pumps a tire to 30 psi in 10 min? will the tiny battery last longer than 10 min. of continuous use of that air pump? Compact pump might generate lots of heat during use, will it melt after continuous use of 10 min. in hot weather?
Another option, but without the air compressor: I bought a jump starter with similar specs on clearance for $25 at Kmart. Some stores apparently still have stock:
I am the writer of the first review on Kmart, successfully starting a Honda Fit with it.
If you want a good jump starter for ANY car or truck look at
If you are depending on something to work, dont try to save a few bucks.
FYI, you probably aren’t starting to pump your tire from 0 psi. Likely this will do fine to add another 8 to 10 psi to what you have already.
Air pump gauge does not work. Have to pump air and then remove and take tire pressure reading with a handheld gauge. Gets annoying when filling 4 tires. Also, the charge lasts only long enough to add 5 lbs. of air to 2 tires before needing to recharge battery.
Not in my case. Added 5 psi to 2 tires before needing to recharge battery. Also, instructions say to let tire pressure charger cool after 5 minutes of use.
JUNK HAD IT FOR TWO DAYS PLUGGED IT IN AND CHARGED FOR 24 HOURS. TRIED TO USE IT DOSE NOT HOLD A CHARGE AT ALL
TOTALLY A WASTE OF MONEY!!!
Were you naughty and someone let the air out of all four tires?
