Got these a couple of woot-offs ago for my family and me.
Bottom line: They work - both the jump starter and the inflator. The inflator is slow, but gets the job done for a full-size tire.

Larger battery pack ,8000mAh, UP88 is $29.99 on the mothership. https://amzn.com/B00T9MLLI0

Also if I leave this in my car, won’t it kill the battery since heat=death to a battery??

Good call!

As pointed out above, this unit is 6000 mAh at $34.99, whereas the 8000 mAh UPP88 is $29.99 on Amazon. Both offers have free shipping.

Woot used to be a deal site. Now it appears to be an avenue for the mothership to rid themselves of problem products (see reviews of the UPP88 on Amazon, including the one in which the device caused a house fire) while deceiving wooters with the notion that they are getting a deal. Really disappointing for someone who loved the original woot.

I found it interesting, in looking at the UPP88 model (mentioned in other comments) that its specs state a 12%/yr “resting discharge rate”.

IMO such devices should be connected to the included AC adapter and to 120VAC overnight every 2-3 months. Or, as I have done with the larger units that have 12v charge sockets, attach a small 12v solar charger, leave the solar panel on the car’s rear package shelf, while the battery pack is in the trunk.

Where are people seeing $29.99???
Did the listing change midday?
