They never interacted much in the eight years they lived together but he’s definitely gotten clingy since her passing. He’s never been very cuddly except at bedtime but now he’s started begging to snuggle just like she did during the day.

I started 2023 with three. Lost one, down to two. Rescued an abandoned three week old kitten (the cat distribution system works in mysterious ways) so back to three. Lost another, so back to two. Adopted a shelter cat from someone else who couldn’t keep him because of allergies (CDS again) so we are steady at three again. All in one year.
Ozzy and Penny (he adopted her). They are the two who passed in 2023. I think she died of a broken heart
