So… odd issue (of course, that’s the only kind I have, but… I digress)…
I have the Woot ‘app’ v6.1.1.3175 installed on Elevyn’s tablet. The default browser was the Silk browser, but I installed Firefox v149 and set that as the default browser. When she goes to the Forums tab on the ‘app,’ it says
Unfortunately, your browser is unsupported. Please switch to a supported browser to vie rich content, log in and reply.
Ummm… it’s YOUR app. How is it “unsupported”?
What’s your default browser?
I set Firefox as the default.
I was wondering if you were sure because all these apps basically just hook the default browser on your device.
I see the same errors on older devices even with new app versions.
Possible that the app itself is still pointing to the other browser on its own?

Yeah… Silk was the default. I don’t know if me not rebooting the device after installing and setting Firefox as default has anything to do with it, but…
I’ll reboot it later (when she’s not using it) and see if that helps.
I thought you couldn’t even download the woot app from the Amazon app store. As of like 2023 or something…

Her tablet is hacked to use the Aurora Store, which has the latest woot app available.

Just started getting the same thing on my phone. I just swapped to a new refurb phone that is the exact same as the old and this just started happing, never a problem before.
If you ever find a solution, I’d much appreciative if you let me know. I still haven’t gotten anywhere with this.
