Sorry. Effective September 15, 2012, Woot, Inc. was required to begin collecting sales tax on orders shipped to destinations in California.
I bought the other model a couple weeks ago for $19.99. The difference is battery capacity. This one is 2400mAh and the previous one is 1700mAh. I haven’t used it yet but for comparison, my Mophie Air ($79) is 1500mAh and will fully charge my iphone4 from 20%. The Mophie Pro ($129) is 2500mAh. The cases (both this brand and Mophie) are a bit bulky so if you are taking flash photos, you will get ghosting. And as someone else mentioned, clips that lock the 2 halves together a bit fragile so I wouldn’t take it off and on a lot
