I have visions of “Lost Boys”.

And even a couple of rat reports for the 2005 Chateau Du Vampire: http://wine.woot.com/Forums/ViewPost.aspx?PostID=2292848&PageIndex=6&ReplyCount=722#post2643474

Vampire Vineyards - Three Pack

$44.99

Previous offer blog and forum.

CT links above. Offered on 10/21/09.

Just checked some pricing.

The Merlot is 10.95 (which one of my friends said she did not like when she tried it)

Chateau is 19.99 on the website.

The Syrah is 30.

Not quite as good of a price break as you usually see on Woot it seems…

Reviews on CT don’t bode well for this one.

That’s still about $16 before shipping, which is not a bad discount. Looks like shipping from the winery is about $5 a bottle, so with that factored in, you’re looking at a nice $26 savings.

Fun name but seems like it would serve more as a conversation piece than something to drink.

I have had the Vampire wine before. I enjoy the labels, it’s fun, but for drinking, the wine is not something I would buy again.

Hmmmm, I was thinking this would make good grocery store wine for those seeking $10 bottles–until I saw the price. I see this brand sold cheap at World Market and local grocery stores. The Syrah would have to be spectacular to justify these prices . . . .

Is it normal for the tracking status to still be “Billing Information Received” after one week?

edit: it is now “in transit.”
