Velocity Micro HD7600L 2400dpi Laser Gaming Mouse by Creative

Gaming mices (meeces?) are a lot about personal feel. I can’t stand the non-ambidextrous mice even though I’m a rightie since I like to keep my hand in a really low position on the mouse. If you prefer these kinds that are a lot higher and seem to cradle your hand more, this might be a worthwhile mouse.

(I’m using a Razor Copperhead that was sold on Woot a good while back and I’m a pretty big fan. The pulsing light is a little distracting when I’m trying to watch movies, though.)

go for it, its the same as this, if you havent been paying attention.

either that or a expensive (yet awesome)logitech g5.

is there such a thing as mouse fan-boy-ism?

I’m a logitech fan for life. mx510–my first love, the g5, and now the mx518…

Yes.

They don’t make this. That’s what Velocity Micro OEM means. Velocity Micro makes it.

Well, I grabbed one. I have been needing a decent corded mouse for a while. Hopefully this one wont spin out on me all the time in TF2.

How many buttons does this have? I looked around and only saw the main two, the DPI-adjustment button, and the two thumb buttons on the left side. Anyone know if there are any on the right side, and how many of them are customizable? Thanks

I agree. I have the mx518 on one computer and it’s the best thing ever. I also have the Razer Diamondback 3G on another computer and have come to love that one too. This one just looks kind of cheesy to me. Looks like some old fart on the board of directors at Creative said they needed to make a gaming mouse cuz that’s what the kids like now-a-days and add some lights to it too. The kids will eat it up. Do not want…

A guy on newegg said “I also have the Logitech MX518 and let me tell you, this mouse beats the MX518 hands down.”

Seems like a matter of opinion really. Goto a mouse section of a retail store, feel both, then buy one on the internet and save some green either way.

singular: mouse
plural: mice

Really not that hard.

Holy crap! That’s the exact reason why I’m buying this mouse too!

I bought this Woot as it looked a better fit for my hand, but…if anyone’s still looking for a new mouse (for today) midnightbox is selling the Logitech G3 for $20.
