Time to check out the product page for the 22"

Those Viewsonice birds are looking pretty darn good considering their age.

4.7 Stars on the 24" over at B&H Photo

I should probably purchase new monitors soon… currently using one from work, and one with backlight issues but only cost me $25 from Goodwill two years ago.

These look mighty nice, and the reviews are fantastic… hmmm.

Edit: For the other lazies among us, according to the reviews I read, apparently the speakers are awful, but otherwise the monitors are lovely.

This is not any kind of a deal. As a matter of fact you can go right over to Newegg and probably Amazon and get something refurbed or even new for about the same price. Here are some examples:

refurbed Asus 23" for $115

New AOC 21.5" $100

New Sceptre 22" $120

Today’s woot isn’t horrible, it’s just not that exceptional- it’s basically an everyday deal if not worst.

I agree, this doesn’t seem like much of a deal. I like the 22", but it’s $125 shipped. The same monitor - new, not refurb - is $140 at Amazon, with free Prime shipping.

just go this in my email:

New $132 (including shipping cost)

Acer UM.VS1AA.B01 S231HLBbid Black 23" 5ms HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 100,000,000:1 (1,000:1)

I bought one once. It died within a year.

I am using one of these right now. It works great. Only issue is the brightness is high. Turning the brightness to 0 and the contrast to 0 fixes that issue at least it did for me.

Also it takes like a 1/4 the power to run that my old one used.

And now the 22" is $99.99. At that price I think I need one!

Indeed, the buyer has lowered the price of the 22" to make it a more compelling deal. The power of the woot commands you to buy all the monitors!

Already bought? No problem. That money will fly back into your pockets soonish.

Beautiful, crisp displays and attractive form/bezel. I bought (2)24" of the very similiar model (VX2450WM-LED). They have been trouble free for (3)years. Have bought only Viewsonic since the 90’s.

As a previous user mentioned, the default brightness/contrast may need some adjustment/calibration if you are selective.

Buy (2) and get a very solid/inexpensive Tyke Supply Dual LCD Monitor Stand (Amazon).

Nice work! Now what can you do on the 24" ones? I’d like two but the price isn’t good enough to get me to pull the trigger…

Viewsonic. Viewsonic. The name sounds familiar somehow.

D’oh!

I’m staring into a 15 year old Viewsonic right now! No wonder!

Just bought the 22. $100. How can I say no? A doctor neighbor gave me three of them like twelve years ago because they were dumping them at the hospital. She brought them all home in her hatchback. Offered them all to me. They were all 16 inch tube deals. I said “sure” and stuck 'em in my attic. I didn’t even need them at the time but what the hell? Free monitors. I like free stuff. I gradually went through them one at a time. I’m on my third one now. I figure it’ll blow soon, right?

A hundred bucks for an HD twenty two? I’m in.

11 days to ship! My last time buying here.

Hi there. As noted in the sale, this item ships out in 3-5 business days. Looks like it was picked up on the 4th business day and is on its way to you now.

You need to learn how to count, the label was printed in 3 days but the item didn’t move until yesterday. Printing a label doesn’t count as shipping in my book.

Whoops, my bad. It was late in shipping, it seems.
