Still love this, using this right now on my desktop (Mac Mini M2 Pro) with a 21:9 LG IPS monitor. Light years ahead of the LG in quality, crispness (I’m not overscaling the LG), set at 1680x945 pixels overscaling. Light as a feather. Thunderbolt 3/4 connection (Mac Mini, Macbook Air) powers it so you only need power to the Mac if you want to save your battery; otherwise works on battery.

The connector and its throughout are key. Some of the monitors have USB 3.0 only. Those have slow refresh rates and bay disappoint.
Not this one. This model works like a champ. I get 60 Hz and HDR, all resolutions, from a Macbook, Mac, Ipad Pro. (Yes, iPad Pro, M2.)

My entire point was thunderbolt is vastly superior to USB 3.0. I have USB-C and HDMI compliant portable monitors from Viewsonic. One being a 15.6" touch screen that I plan to pair with a Samsung phone using the built in DEX app. I would not consider their USB-A 3.0 at all due to slowness of response times.

I don’t know what you’re talking about. THIS display has no USB-A connection. Pay attention to the product this discussion is for.

Not sure why it seemed so difficult to communicate. I was comparing it with the on sale displays today that have USB-A 3.0 as a caution about throughput to other people. Why the difference is very significant. Never mind.
