Such great tasting notes when this was first offered in May. Thanks to the Grape Debaters. So I’m in for one. Have been on a Rose kick of late. Thanks Woot!!!
I personally didn’t care for this rose.
It came across as too tart for me. Also the bottle received did not say Pinot noir on the bottle. Not sure if it matters but it was slightly confusing.
Interesting you should mention that. I checked and their website label doesn’t say Pinot Noir, so makes one wonder.
The website notes for the 2016 that the bottle shot does not say pinor noir states “We were excited at the opportunity to make a Rose’ from our families Home Ranch vineyard in High Valley, Lake County.”
The notes here say “We were excited at the opportunity to make a Rose’ from our families Pinot Noir vineyard in Colusa County just over the hill from our Home Ranch”
Two different wines? Or lazy PR?
Even here, one of the previous offers says one thing, the other is different. Eh, who cares right?
