Wow, a $500 blender. What a deal, I’ll take two!!
O.o Holy hell, I’ll stick with my Ninja BL700 please and thank you >.< What’s supposed to go through that thing, cement? Rebar?
the wife & i got this vitamix for xmas from my parents. thing is awesome.
i would have never spent that much on a blender myself.
Someone buy one and test this out FOR SCIENCE.
And only two as that’s the max per customer. I want to befriend the person who’s gonna drop over $900 on blenders today.
HEY! When did we get the badges back?..
GO TEAM KOI!!
We bought one of these about 8 years ago. We still use it 4 - 5 times a week. Cost about $400 then. We thought we’d lost our minds, it’s paid for itself multiple times over. Our neighbors who have “Ninja” blenders look upon our VitaMix with awe. I mentioned using it the other day while on FB and immediately got positive feedback from others who use their VitaMix blenders almost daily. Scoff if you like, sometimes the best bargain is a good price for the best of something.
My wife bought a Vitamix many years ago. I call it “The $6 Million Blender”.
They do last forever.
I still think it’s a waste of money.
I don’t doubt it (I might doubt it a little). I still want to know how it handles rebar.
wish I had enough money to drop this much on a blender
These are awesome blenders - we’ve had one for a couple of years and use it everyday! Great for soups, smoothies, slushies, sauces and more.
This one’s the top of the line model - there are other models available for a better price, depends how much of a PRO kitchen appliance you’re looking for.
I’ll take one of these. Maybe it can puree the golden slinky I just bought from here.
Well I’m not looking to grind up diamonds for the next four years m’self. Our little Ninja chopper has had to serve as a blender for awhile now, and is still going strong. It’s why we decided to get the BL700. I don’t know what model your neighbors have, but there isn’t anything that’s going to make me go ‘awe’ over a blender that costs that much. Sounds about as effective as throwing money directly into it >.<
XD I’d so want to see someone youtube that.
hahaha I use that phrase all the time!!
But seriously… what the hell. What ARE you blending for nearly 5 bills…or do I want to know.
LOL - Totally agree!
Fiancé said his mum had one. Motor died after five years. He suggests nothing stringy, including green beans. Will work with certain nuts like peanuts, but it might be a strain with something like almonds, even with liquid. Also, it doesn’t juice. At all.
Of course, this is a model from six years ago, so he’s sure improvements have been made with time. But if not… you’re better off buying one of the ‘lower brands’ and replacing it in three years than paying four times as much and replacing it in six.
Yay personal experiences?
