Time to learn all about Vivere

I bought one in the Oasis color last year. We like it a lot. The metal parts don’t all fit together perfectly, but it’s comfy and stable and definitely portable.

yes they are great and I am 6’3 270 and it has no problem with me at all. It was a little scary at first, but now I will just fall right down on it.

We bought one of these a couple of years ago. One of the ropes started to fray and the cloth started to mold. But that’s expected when you leave it outside 24/7 for the spring, summer, and fall. I have no doubt that it would still be in great condition had I treated it better. Regarding the frame: we still have it and like the other comment said, the parts don’t fit together perfect but they’re not awful either.

If the hammock alone was avilable, I would snatch it up.

I agree with the others. I’ve owned mine for a couple of years. The hammock itself is holding up great and it stays up outside under my carport all the time. The stand is a bit wobbly, but not too bad. I’ve taken it apart to transport a couple of times and it fits well in the storage bag and is great to take camping. Overall, I’d say it is a good value.

Bought one of these last year. I love it. I’ve kept it indoors for use as an extra seat and nap space. The only downside I’ve seen is the metal “teardrop”-shaped protector around the loops at the end tends to get loose. I’m about 215lbs and swing on it with no problems, flop, twist and turn.

I will say some of the pictures make the cloth of the hammock look far wider than it actually is, but I’ve always found a comfortable position in it.

One of our best WOOT buys ever. Wife loves it out on the deck. Very simple to bring in the hammock for bad weather…no problem with leaving the stand outside year round. I haven’t tried to use the portable feature of it so far, but tempted to take it to scout camp this year.

One of the best purchases I’ve ever made … For a while last fall I had it set up in my living room and slept in it at night instead of my bed because it’s more comfortable. Definitely portable and goes together super fast.

For outdoor use - It’s easy to just unhook the hammock from the frame and bring it in the house at the end of the day.

Our family sleeps exclusively in hammocks. This was the first one we got to test it out (nearly two years ago now I think)… and it bent as soon as hubby and I tried to sit in it. We definitely don’t exceed the weight limit even together. Ended up making our own stand for a bigger hammock and giving this one to the kiddo. It bent a bit further when kiddo got in it, but has stayed stable since and has served him well (he’s grown over a foot since then and is about grown out of it solely because of the bend making it shorter. He’s between 5’2 and 5’4). While it’s seems very wobbly, kiddo has not managed to knock it over despite loving to swing wildly in it, and also likes to twist himself up in it and let it spin open… other than once when he climbed to one edge and managed to up-end it into the ceiling. Yay kids!

(a bed was NOT safer btw. He used to fall out of his regularly, slice open arms and legs on the frame, even managed to up-end it into the ceiling… so, yeah. He hasn’t fallen out of ‘bed’ since moving to a hammock nor sliced himself up on the stand. So, points for that!)

What is the distance between the ends of the hammock stand itself?

Finally a piece of exercise equipment I’ll actually use!

I love this. I used it back when I weighed 350 lbs, and it was solid. My 60 lb daughter would climb into me, and it never felt stressed at all. Length is just fine also. I’m 6’3" and never feel cramped.

Can you clarify what measurement you’re looking for?

Edit: our buyer says:

I already have one of these and am disappointed I missed out on the Woot sale! But here is what you should know:

First, $159.99 is NOT the regular Amazon price. Try $125.

Next, the metal frame may come chipped. The company was very nice about replacing mine, but the new one was also chipped. When they sent me paint to cover the chips, they sent me the wrong color paint. All while being very polite and helpful. Just keep this in mind.

Finally, you can get a hammock frame for not too much at IKEA and then go buy your own hammock to put on it. Might be worth the comparison before you commit.

But I love my hammock nonetheless.

When people ask, I tell them that it’s my Pilates machine.

I wooted one last summer and use it almost daily. Here’s the comments from that sale last July

Very nice. Got one last year for the deck. Not too heavy in the case, not too hard to put together by one person, but two people can have it ready in a few minutes.

Only needed to adjust where it hooks a few times as the support rope stretched at first…but now it is waiting to be used again as soon as the weather improves…

I purchased one in 2013 and absolutely love it! It is unbelievably comfortable to sleep in and my cat finds it comfy too. Easy to put together!
