It’s a $200 projector with $200 performance. It won’t be very bright and it won’t be very sharp. Depending on where you buy, a new lamp for this projector can cost more than this price, so if you are not getting a new bulb in there, you could end up spending quite a bit more when the bulb dies. I would pass on this.
Does anyone know if a refurb projector includes a new bulb?
I tried an SVGA (800x600) projector and returned it, because the image was too blurry. I wouldn’t settle for less than XGA (1024X768) resolution for a projector. If your video source is higher than 800x600, I’d recommend spending a little more on a projector that preserves the image quality. It makes a big difference on a big screen.
Mine came with a new bulb… Or at least they reset the bulb timer before shipping it…
