This was the first flat screen TV I ever owned, I bought it almost 3 years ago, and it’s still going strong. It’s a good starter 1080p TV, but the refresh rate (60Hz) leaves you wanting more when it comes to blu-ray. All in all a solid, hard-working TV though. Pretty good price too.
I’m happy with mine, as far as the picture quality is concerned. Two HDMI ports and a component port are sufficient, since I have neither a BluRay player nor a game console. Really, the only quibble I have is its lack of special features like buttons for favorite channels on the remote control, or the ability to ‘rename’ channels… and these deficiencies could be addressed by using a programmable remote control and/or hooking up a digital cable set-top box.
Overall, it’s a good basic LCD TV for a good price (imho).
I purchased this TV from Woot over a year ago and am pleased as punch. I have it hooked up to my computer and have been able to forgo cable television. I’ve experienced nothing but great picture quality and I think the sound is just fine as well.
Good, sound television for a very reasonable price. I’d recommend it to anyone.
