Voltix 8000mAh Solar Power Bank w/LED

In this day and age, I would not be surprised…

super-special “mirco” USB port. Cool…I just got a new Note 7 and that must be what it takes to charge it because the regular micro USB plug doesn’t fit

So in reality after everything said this thing is useless!

Am I correct!

You are paying for a gimmick with this particular device. I love the spare battery pack concept. I use mine fairly often. I bought 2 of these https://www.amazon.com/Lepow-U-Stone-12000mAh-External-Portable/dp/B00E3GXJDC when they were on sale for like $12 each off of some deal-a-day site last year. These things have enough capacity to fully charge my phone from 0, 3 x in a row before I need to recharge them- and it charges them quickly. It holds a charge forever, so even if it sits idle in your car for 6 months, that charge will still be 90-95%. Just browse Amazon and check out the reviews before you purchase a battery pack.

This one is $11 (freeship on prime) and it’s rated at 10,000mAh, and has a lot of good reviews. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VWV8LD4?psc=1

Sakes alive, between this and that lousy backpack Woot discussions has saved me some heartache from buying some crap today. Thank you, random brilliant strangers!

Woot, you need to step up the quality!

I looked at buying a similar one, back last year in the spring for a 2 day Bike ride. I decided I was better off with a non solar one with over double the capacity for about the same price as a solar one. It would take several days to charge from solar.
