Great reviews at amazon and Home Depot

Let’s learn all about Wall Control and learn more about installation

Love mine. I have a couple side by side on a wall in the kitchen area, and hang a variety of pots, pans and colanders on them. Mine are a nice yellow, but I paid quite a bit more when I got them 2-3 years ago, and I chose the assorted hooks in blue. Cheery and oh-so-very-functional!

This basic offering in galvanized steel would be fine for a garage or workshop, but I’m glad that I had an option of several colors from which to choose. I really do love mine.

2 or 3…? 2 or 3…? 2 or 3…? 2 or 3…?

3…def 3.

Just for reference, a white-finished sheet of actual pegboard (masonite), 4x8, goes for under $20 at Lowe’s and around $25 at my local rural place. So even at this price the steel is about 5x the cost per sq ft. I hang some heavy junk from the regular stuff and never had a blowout. This looks a lot better, tho.

I was hoping it came in with 1,357 holes. That’s a deal breaker for me.

4!

LOVE these!! When I was preparing to open my gaming store, I knew I’d need a way to display merchandise that was effective, stylish, and affordable. I have 6 of these panels and I can hang a LOT of stuff on them. The included hangers/shelves are sturdy and work well with the standard 1/4" pegboard hardware I found at my local big box hardware stores. If the business keeps growing, I’ll be in the market for more soon!

I actually like the idea of metal pegboard, as it’s stronger and has far more eye appeal than the old Masonite peg boards. However, I would not want to pay for the hardware that comes with each kit, such as bins, tool holders and shelves, as I would not want to use them. So my question is this (hope one of the mods. will try to find an answer)…

Are the metal peg boards sold without the bins, tool holders and shelves?

Not today at least, but I know we’ve sold them that way in the past (I think). Surely you could find them elsewhere, just the peg boards.

Looks like the same set at HD is $66.97 shipped. I guess my debate is this over the conventional pegboard? Is the steel version worth that much more? This is my first pegboard purchase as I organize my garage, so I don’t know about longevity and durability of ‘regular’ pergboard.

Curious what sort of gaming store you have - like gamestop or like arcade style?

Oh, my store is for us geeky people who like role-playing games, card games, miniatures, and other tabletop games. I’m able to use the shelves to display card boxes or smaller game boxes while the pegs (both the ones that came with the boards and the ones I find at Walmart/Lowes/Home Depot) hang sleeves, boxes, playmats, figures, etc. I can display my merchandise easily with this system and it looks really neat and modern compared to the old pressboard pegboards I had years ago in another similar store.

You can buy a 2-piece set of the pegboard only on Amazon for $35…http://www.amazon.com/Wall-Control-30-P-3232GV-Galvanized-Pegboard/dp/B001J6FSDS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1395847850&sr=8-2&keywords=wall+control

I hate how Woot marks everything up to make you think you are getting a better deal. $44.99 marked down from $94.99…yea right. Amazon has it for $66.99 and prime eligible. All this stuff is just old Amazon stock they try and sell off. #oldwootwasbetter

That being said, after shipping its $17 off Amazon price, (assuming you have prime). Not too bad of a deal. Im on the fence, probably will buy.

Though I am not a table-topper, I’ve got nothing against them. To each their own I say and truth be told if I joined my buddies group I’d probabyl love it. Was just curious as I have some friends that have talked for years about starting a store; though they want the console arcade/table top mix for theirs. I’m not too sure the genres mix well tbh.

Can’t argue the #oldwootwasbetter but all we can do is complain about it. If you don’t have PRIME, then home depot has the set for $66.97 free shipping. Still $17 over woot price, and hate to break it to you but the MSRP has always been inflated. :frowning:

Honestly it looks like buying the 2 pack of boards alone with your choice of peg sets http://www.amazon.com/Stanley-819841-Pegboard-Assortment-51-Piece/dp/B000KKVL6C/ref=pd_bxgy_hi_img_y or http://www.amazon.com/Neiko-50-Piece-Peg-Board-Set/dp/B0009WDUDS/ref=pd_bxgy_hi_img_z#productDetails is a better deal. I guess this one comes with the shelf and bins, but I seem to recall people saying Harbor Freight sells those sorts of accessories at a reasonable price.

Looking at the Camel it seems as though Amazon’s price for the two pieces has been sitting at $35 for quite a while now, too.
