For recent D battery purchases
Woot, unlike every other retailer I’ve experienced, again has tax information wrong and after almost a year.
Permanent no taxes on batteries such as D and now more than a week trying to get woot to credit and fix in system.
The last Florida temporary tax holidays happened every retailer I used and heard about fixed in their system day one months go by and woot had not.
This Permanent tax free for likes of small household batteries now from aug 2025 Woot has not fixed. Amazon, Walmart. Target, etc fixed on day 1. Even some small companies that have a couple stores and none in Florida were fixed when I purchased less than a month in.
Tell woot about it and days later send your organizations exempt letter
Now it’s been 4 days with nothing after again mentioning its permanent tax exemption for all of Florida not a non profit or business exemption.
*Also of note another tax issue never heard back after they were researching the fact that I have been charged too much tax as they had me in wrong county since day 1. I asked for credit for the incorrect charges of between a half to as much as one and a half possibly 2% i believe difference over the years. They did correct the county though so going forward correct %. They were the only retailer with this wrong as well. I though Amazon had it wrong yet I was wrong only woot.
