Ordered a Macbook late March and it failed in less than 4 months. 90 day warranty. What should I do? Apple says it will cost nearly 500 bucks to replace the screen.
Should note, the screen is not starting up at all. No physical damage. Laptop starts up and screen doesn’t.
You might look for a non-Apple repair place. It could just be a loose connection. Happened to my son’s PC laptop - the cable connecting the bottom to the screen had gotten striped over time. Replaced the cable and it worked.
