Yeah, not sure this is an “extract”.
It’s “Imitation Extract”. Says so right there on the label. But no artificial color… 
went and looked at some of amazon’s comments…the one stars are saying this is NOT “extract” just flavoring, and LOTS of peeps, even in to THIS year were complaining they received their product with NO LID!
OMG! it was sealed w/foil “lining” but once opened it would be completely useless…esp considering there’s a high content of alcohol in it…hhhhmmm…
(I’ve used penzey’s vanilla for some time…comes in a brown bottle, costs your first & 2nd born - but ohhh so worth it!! and so are a lot of their spices etc…shame I don’t go to Houston any more and have to shop online for their stuff…luvd going IN their shop, just for the SMELLS!!)
