I’m confused…does it include a hydration bladder, or merely is capable of holding one(purchased separately)

It’s just capable of holding the hydration pack. The bladder isn’t included with the backpack.

Yeah I’ve got a completely different day pack like that. The one I have has an elastic pouch inside the main compartment that holds the bladder in place and keeps other stuff off it, and a little slot near the zipper that you can slip the tube through. It’s a great feature on my pack–totally unoticeable when you don’t need it and totally well designed and usable when you do.

I’d like to take this on motorcycle rides. I didn’t see that it was waterproof. Anyone know if it is or at least water resistant? Not that I ride in the rain, but a shower is always possible, especially with me on the road!
