Good company that stands behind there products. This tent should go up in a snap. BTW almost all tents even new needs to be seam sealed in the corners or they will leak
The exact one doesn’t seem to have any reviews over at Amazon, but here’s one by the same company, looks like it’s a different color combo… Mostly average to good reviews.

[MOD: Different product. That’s a 9-person tent. Ours is a 7-person tent. (TT)]
Here is a hyperlink if you’re too lazy to copy paste the previous URL
I took a few minutes to read the reviews, This tent doesn’t seem to do well in extreme winds. The biggest complaint is that the FiberGlass poles seem to break easy (especially in high winds)
It seems the only 1-star review there was mad that they wouldn’t file a warranty claim because he couldn’t provide the broken pole he threw away. Still a lot of great reviews on this tent though.
As far as I can tell this is the same tent with a different colour combo

This doesn’t seem like it would hold up well during a zombie attack. Too many avenues of easy attack through the door and window, or they could just come straight through – somehow I don’t think polyester taffeta is rated against zombies.
(Don’t mind me, just sat through a “Walking Dead” marathon…)
The buyer wanted me to pass these on. He found them at another site.

Rats! You beat me by a couple minutes! Next time if you see me posting just tell the buyer I’m currently posting and it will be taken care of sooner than later.
Lol Thunderthighs now I’m really confused. The links you posted to (The correct one) says this:
Sleeps about 7 adults
Base: 18 feet by 10 feet
Area: 170 square feet
Center height: 76 inches
The one I posted (the wrong one) says:
*Base: 18 by 10 feet
Center height: 76 inches
Area: 159 square feet
Capacity: 9 people *
So let me get this straight. I can cram 9 people into the 159 Squarefoot tent, but only seven will fit in the 170?
Talk about confusing.

We don’t make 'em. We just sell 'em.

Okay well, I still think the regardless of the tent, the firberglass poles might be fragile for all of them. I suggest registering your tent by filling out your warranty card and if anything breaks they seem more than happy to replace it assuming you save the part that broke.
I’m going to get offline for now, Might stop back later and post some more. We’ll see.
Maybe the gear loft can hold a kid or two.
Thanks for making me laugh! Does humor count towards quality posts? If so, you should have a lot more.

The rain fly doesn’t cover the entire tent…not so good. Having just come back from a week of island camping with friends who had a tent with a similar short rain fly, the daily thunderstorms weren’t kind to them.

Good Point - Thanks!! I was just about to purchase this, but can now see my head at the window being pelted by rain.

In regards to the rainfly covers -
From the higher ups:
“The rainfly covers the mesh top sections, but doors and windows can be fully closed when it rains.”
Hope this helps

Thank you very much, although I’d bet at least 10% of my quality posts come from witty observations, or me gushing about something equally silly, like the colour of a collander or posting a video barely related to the product. I do enjoy the idea of deserving QualPo’s though.
Always remember that they calculate the number of people it holds without taking into account your gear. This one will hold the noted 7 people comfortably, but their bags will have to stay outside the tent. I would say 3-5 average sized people would be really comfortable with gear.
This tent (based on the price and the specs) is a low-end tent for the casual camper. Wenzel is a pretty good name, so it will probably serve you better than a Walmart or Target brand tent.
The fiberglass poles are thin (so be wary of windy conditions) and the price of the tent tells you that it would be best to seam seal and spray the nylon with a silicon fabric sealant every 2-3 years. Also, with every tent, it is good to put a “ground-cloth” or tarp under the tent to protect the bottom and to keep the moisture from seeping through the floor and making you cold.
This tent seems perfect for someone who will camp once or twice a year in summer.
True, but that doesn’t help with the tent’s material getting soaked on the exposed sections. If anything touches the material, the water wicks right in. Soaked gear (sleeping bags, clothing) is not a fun situation. In addition, water tends to pool at seams and forms droplets that fall…plunk…right on your head I don’t mean leaking through the seam but running down the fabric stopping at a seam until enough collects.
I think this would be fine for backyard camping or dry climates and for that the price is great. But I otherwise would pass on it.
If I was a Notre Dame fan I would be all over this deal. Or a St. Louis Rams fan. But I’m not.

I agree and besides who wants to close the windows on a hot rainy day. Even if a wet wall wasn’t a problem, closing all the windows to keep the rain out is a deal breaker for me
