It looks interesting. It has a liquid container screwed on. I have the one u gave to dip into liquid. And sometimes it works good. Sometimes it sucks…well doesn’t blow as good

This one looks much nicer if it doesn’t have to be dipped

Ah ha! I think they got you there with a tricky part of the design and some evasive wording. I too purchased the type that you have to continuously dip, and then saw this product and noticed what LOOKS like a bubble solution container that LOOKS as though it would feed solution into the gun, causing you not to have to dip it to blow bubbles. HOWEVER, notice it doesn’t say anywhere in the description that it actually functions that way? THEN, notice the included BUBBLE SOLUTION TRAY. So, all things considered, I don’t think this gun works any different than all the others. Pretty sure that container/reservoir looking thing is just a deceptive part of the design. Again, they don’t say anywhere in the description that the thing functions that way. So, they could just put their hands up, say we never made such a claim that our product does that, and say that it is quite presumtive to assume that. Funny, huh? Don’t be fooled.
That being said, I do have the kind that you have to dip. And honestly, our little one loves it, and we paid more for it than Woot is asking for this one. We are happy with it, we still use it occasionally, and we don’t feel like we got ripped off. So, it is probably a fair deal. Just don’t be under the illusion that it continuously feeds bubble solution into the gun so you don’t have to keep dipping it. Because that is not the case. You do have to dip this thing every 15 seconds or so if you want to keep blowing bubbles.

It’s possible that I did fall for the image. If it’s the kind you have to dip. Like you and I have. As you said the kids love it. I get tired of having to dip every 4 seconds. The fan is too strong and it blows the soap off the holes too strong. If it was weaker like from a mouth it would work wonderfully.

Also mines rechargeable…

I was wondering what the tray was for, thanks!

From the Mothership’s reviews, dipping in the tray of solution is a fact. No Bubble cartridges that continuously pump out perfectly good bubbles.
Boo! :unamused: “ It was very easy to put together, and it’s rechargeable, which is great - so much better than having to keep replacing batteries.
…also really likes the little tray that’s included to pour the bubble solution into. If you don’t use all of the solution, you can easily pour it back into the bottle

Things wished were improved upon:

  1. If you don’t want all of the bubbles to stick together, you have to wipe off the gun nozzles after each use - before you “reload” again from the tray.

  2. It would be nice if there was a way to just load a whole bottle of bubble solution into the gun (and then not have to keep dipping it into the tray for reloading)

Yup basically the same as the one I already had. Rechargeable is the way to go. But on mine the fan is too strong so the bubbles get broken.

Back to square one.

Trigger broke in less than an hour. No abuse. It just broke. Woot was great in issuing a refund
