100 cups of coffee? I won’t be getting to sleep anytime soon.

On Veteran’s Day, the sight of a 100 cup perc brings back vivid memories of the never-cleaned one at the “shop” where I was assigned in the Pentagon and drinking rancid coffee made from stale grounds at 3AM.

On a more positive note, one church supper hint is to fill the upper basket, and pour boiled water over the the grounds kind of like a drip maker and AFTERWARDS plug it in to keep it hot.

Says it percolates (who does that anymore?) at a cup-a-minute rate. For 100 cups, that’s an hour and 40 minutes. Who wants to wait that long to get their coffee?

Probably the church hint from above is the way to go - boil your water, make drip coffee, and then keep it warm with this thing. (?)
