More than $1080 and not 1080p? Not worth it.

#4

wasn’t the 61 inch the same price?

#5

720p on a 46" LCD? Hmm…

#6

Nice. only 199 More for an extra 4 inches compaired the the 42 during the woot-off

#7

Looks good to me. All the way up to 1080i. Refurb doesn’t bother me too much. I’ll wait to hear from you all.

#8

I wonder how my wall would handle the weight? Anyone have the weight balance for this thing?

#9

woot definitely has a deal with westinghouse on the side. that’s the only explanation for all the wastinghouse stuff on this site.

#10

I want a 26-32" for under $450! Come on woot!

#11

Why are there so many westinghouse refurbs?

Westinghouse LTV-46W1 - HD - LCD TV - 46" - Widescreen … - $1,992.97 - KEENZO ELECTRONICS
Westinghouse 46-inch LCD HDTV - $1,789.00 - J &R Music and Computer World - www.jr.com
Westinghouse LTV-46w1 46 in. HDTV LCD Television * NEW - $1,399.99 - eBay

Seems like a good deal.

#13

Ewwww, a contrast ratio of only 1000:1? Worth about $800 at best…

#14

Ack! Woot-off throwback?

I have a Panasonic Theaterwide 54" rear projection HD. Other than size, I don’t see the allure of flat panel HDTV’s… the brightness, field of view, etc don’t copmare… and I don’t have to worry about dead pixels.

#15

Guys, LCD prices are plummeting. Vizio will introce 42" 1080p LCD for under $1000 in the matter of days. Vizio’s 47" 1080p currently sells in the warehouse clubs for around $1600 and the new 52" should be less than $2000 in a couple of months. Sorry Woot! but this is too much for too little, and refurb to boot.

#16

all i could ask for is 1080p… so no really big tv for me tonight

#17

Really? Find me a definitive guide for calculating and comparing contrast ratios…

Yep, thought so. That’s a marketing number with no real meaning.

#18

how does Westinghouse compare to other brand named hdtv’s ?

#19

“Why are there so many westinghouse refurbs?”

Good point.
