I too use emoji in slack at work. However, I have found the international community can be super sensitive to certain ones like this: . I tend to limit to only emoji that are perceived as “positive”.

Great, DE&I initiatives now extend to emoji. Way to go, world.

FYI, to see the emoji palette in Windows, for adding emoji to an email for example, press the windows key + period. It is incredibly helpful for those professionally unprofessional correspondences.
