Electric with self-propelled option.
I keep wondering about getting a weighted pole and some rope to place near the center of the yard. Then, attach the rope to the mower and secure the self-propelled handle. I need to engineer a mechanism to release the self-propelled handle once the mower completes its circuit.
However, I am nearing the point where I can have the kids mow, and I can just yell from the deck. So, maybe I will save my project for empty nesting years. Yet, by emptying nesting season, I will just start experimenting with robots and drones.
