What was the greatest movie you've seen in the past year? Can be new or old!
I don’t remember the title, but it was something about a woman named Debbie going to Dallas.
Fixed it: feat = movie
Last Stop in Yuma County
Animal House - still great after 50 years!
New movies worth a damn are SO hard to come by, but… I really liked Lisa Frankenstein and IF.
Lisa Frankenstein is an 80’s throwback that actually works. IF is just good clean family fun. Not a single agenda in sight on either one… Refreshing in today’s day and age.
Now if you wanna talk old movies… There are SO many, but two I will watch over and over again are The Stand (the one and only original, not the bullshit “reimagining”) and The Devil’s Advocate. Actors and authors notwithstanding… those are the two best movies EVER. Period.
Bullet Train. A delightful surprise with a cast filled with favorites.
My other answer was a joke, real answer is Nobody.
Deadpool/Wolverine was the best movie I’ve seen in 30 years. Beetlejuice 2 was the worst movie I’ve seen in 30 years.
Really want to see Deadpool/Wolverine.
Maybe this weekend. TY!
LoTR is probably the greatest that I watched or rewatched. Followed by Hot Shots Part Deuce or Robin Hood Men In Tights. Yeah extremes.
Amadeus.
Laughing: Blazing Sadles (Mel Brooks)
Crying: Water (Deepa Mehta)
Honestly, the latest Mission Impossible movie knocked my socks off. Say what you will about Tom Cruise, the man knows how to make a movie.
