Kickball
Guilty pleasures: What we did to substitute teachers and their lesson plans.
The smarter the kids, the more diabolical the antics and setup. One substitute teacher broke his glasses throwing it on his desk. The laughter from most of the class (not from me - I was amazed) - was cruel.
Subs should get hazard pay. They need therapy afterwards.
Recess, and I grew up in the northeast so stealing lunch trays to sled on at recess is a really fond memory.
I’m 50, naps and snacks are still the best parts of the day.
Gym class was kinda fun.
Gym.
Cafeteria pizza
Fish sticks!
Not sure what elementary school you went to that had snacks and naps. We had lunxh and recess. Favorite? Recess for sure.
Recess - playing on now forbidden items!
Merry-go-round (especially the pull-a-way type)
Teeter-totter
Said no one ever.
Recess!
Playing marbles at recess.
Naps weren’t a thing in elementary school. We didn’t really have snacks either, unless it was a special day or someone brought snacks for their bday. It was recess, all the way!
Recess
No naps or snacks and only gold stars. Recess was short. I’d nap when we had films. Loved the library, read half of it by the time I finished 4th grade.
Recess!!! Naps? No naps in my school
Definitely books, library, reading circle, anything to do with books (except math books. They don’t count.)
Tetherball!
Recess and holiday parties.
