Whatcha eating for Thanksgiving this year?
A little of this, a little of that.
I am not a fan of turkey, so we are having ham!
Duck. Invited to it, otherwise it would be (and will mostly be) just sides.
Yummy gobble gobble
The Ham, most sides and pumpkin pie.
Everything.
Same thing we eat every year, Pinky…
Turkey for my American side.
Italian sausage for my Italian side.
with the usual sides, of course…
Fried Turkey, smoked ham, deviled eggs, 2 kinds of green beans- one a casserole, then macaroni n cheese -baked, sausage biscuit balls, sausage dip n chips, rolls, dressing w gravy on side, extra style gravy, sweet potato casserole with pecans, a potato casserole, cranberry sauces one jelled, a veggie tray, fruit tray, homemade assorted. cookies, 2 pumpkin pies, 2 apple pies, 2 pecan pies, pineapple pudding cake, cider, wine, tea, sodas, water.
Have a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving and remember our Veterans and those alone needing a meal-share one!
So… what time should I be there?!
Fortunately, I already prepped and served a “Thanksgiving meal” with a right proper turkey. My expectation for Thursday’s family day is dry turkey… maybe I will call it Sahara Desert. I will try to find a side that can give me nutrients to offset my tendency to hit the desserts hard.
Sleepy meat
Anything but…
OR…
Turkey sausage? (Please note that I think I know you well enough based on your posts that this is a silly question)
I have . I’m going to be out of the country. So a surprise.
