When do open box promotions and other secret promotions drop?

What time of day do the open box clearance promotions get added? Is it regular? I know it isn’t when the normal deal drops (1am EST).

It seems to be in the middle of my work day, as by the time I can look at woot (6-7pm est), it’s usually half bought out

Also, what time do the random deals get added? Like that $20 record player in the main category last night, for example. I caught the drop at 101am, looked at it again about 130am (est) and it was not in there. Just looked now and saw it (sold out obv)

Any rhyme or reason? I’m at a loss and very bummed when I see these things.

But maybe all the money I’m losing by missing the deals. When I see a deal promotion drop that I miss the beginning on, and I scroll and 50-25% of it is sold out, I will NOT even peak at what I missed. Breaks my heart. So maybe those are all essentials I bought full price elsewhere anyway

(The open boxes, when they have them on Saturdays, are at 10am CDT. But I didn’t tell you this.)

Maybe they change the times and it’s not always at 10. I don’t know. Actually, I really do know. Maybe.

I have been around here for a billion years and I have literally no idea when that stuff drops. I should probably pay attention but I don’t.

i have a hunch that the date in which an open box sale ends, another one is scheduled. my theory isn’t solid but I am suspicious of a midday 11AM est sale when there’s few Open Box promos in the Clearance tab.

from my experience, I’ve noticed them more on weekends. beware of bots.

Not really. It’s often when we can get things loaded and ready to go live. But for larger events, we tend to aim for 10am or 12pm CT. Sometimes.

For those lather ones, do you aim for Weekend or weekdays? Or more whenever it’s ready?

We regularly have open box items and other Clearance items drop on Saturday. Open box items drop on other days as well but it just depends on when the one poor dude doing them can get the event done.
