When was the last time you did a serious, multi-day, road trip?
Did someone say road trip!?!
Does a train trip count?
It’s been a few years since I’ve visited family far enough or stayed in a hotel
It’s been a while… Long time
Just got home from one about 4 hours ago!!
A few years went on a BIG loong road trip to Seattle & Montana to see friends for a few weeks. Fun.
Jackson, MS to San Antonio, TX, solo for work. I made the mistake of trying to one day it the Sunday after thanksgiving, which turned a 9 hour drive into 12. I drove home a few days later and had to stop 2 hours from home and get a room.
You here? Some duck hunters have never seen a Peguin and might confuse you for your ducky cousins. Just be certain to stay close to the ground and don’t accidentally glide if you trip.
It’s been a looong time, about 16-ish years ago to my recollection when I went to rock concerts with my older brother in NY and NJ about a 4, 5 hour drive longest we stayed was 2 nights before we drove back to MA. We did this like 4 times when I came to the US on vacation (I used to live in Portugal). Good times! My brother has been gone for a while but I will treasure those times forever !
No. I’m not here. I’m actually over there.
Not since I was a kid, but when our vehicle comes back from the shop, we’ll take it for a long spin. We’ll need chains if we want to go through the mountain passes, though.
Last May, 100 mile garage sale along the Great River Road - Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Beautiful scenery, bargains, strange people - oh, that was us !
Over where exactly?
Hubs and I drove home to California from my parents’ in Wisconsin this past summer. We’ve made the trip through Nebraska and Wyoming before so we decided to take the northern route through North Dakota and Montana this time. …Probably wouldn’t do it again.
If moving counts a little over 2 years ago. If it doesn’t then 4 years ago
The kind where you spend the night somewhere along the way? I’ve only got so much paid time off!!
