Not purchasing at this time but had to comment. This is our current thermostat and the temperature we keep it at the most (and current). Our AC guy that had kept our previous external unit and thermostat running for a generation recommended against the touch screen ones that depend too much on an OS to control the unit. Sound logic. This was the somewhat compromise in that it was still “smart” and connected to the internet. We LOVE it. The app is simple to use on our phones and it’s great to set the temp cooler before you get home on a hot day. Or conversely to heat things up when you feel it’s a bit cold going back to your car before heading home. I recommend for all these reasons.
