I know this is unconventional, but since it’s Turkey-Day eve I wanted to say hello, introduce myself, and let you know that despite the festivities, I’ll be around over the next few days to banter (between zzzzz’s while I’m digesting my triptophan).
I’m the vintner’s right-hand and mouthpiece (well, keyboard piece…I type faster than him!)
I look forward to chatting with you!
Gobble gobble,
Pamela
PS-Clayfu…never heard of us because it’s a brand new line of wines…(but not a brand new winemaker-Marco DiGiulio, our winemaker, was written up this month in the Spectator as “one of Napa’s top wine consultants.” And amazingly, he’s an incredibly nice guy, as well.
Ok, I knew that was coming. Here’s the gig…in April of this year Pat Roney, a long-time vintner and the owner of Girard Winery in Napa, bought Windsor Vineyards. I came in with him. We’ve launched the ultra-premium Windsor Sonoma brand as, well, the “mothership”. We’re also building a winery on Westside road in Healdsburg…check out the renderings at windsorsonoma.com
